Babbling Cal-alittle current update

So playing catch up with our summer life of photos has taken lots of time. My last post was of the 4th of July posted in October...So I wanted to sneak in a current look at our baby Cal at 4 months old 16lbs and 26inches.

Dad decided to slip Benji's sun glasses on Cal while I was ordering the ice cream for our Saturday after pumpkin land...

I think Cal is a little shocked by the eye wear...

Such a cute silly face!

Benji's Big Trick & Puppy Tummy time?

Nelly, seeing Cal on the floor for his tummy time, rolled up right next to him and rolled on her back looking for some tummy loves. It was so cute. Our Birth Mother Cassie's & her family -dog lovers-have a Yorkie named George and English Mastiff named Cookie.(if I remember right) They also have a friend who brings their Mastiff over often named Bowzer...

Dan Schools Benji in the arts of Bike Ridding.Lesson One did not Last Long...

Benji Decided lesson one was a lot of work and wanted his training wheels back on...(Turns out he surprised us a few days latter while I was inside with Baby Cal, Benji pulled his bike out on his own and figured it out solo! Now we have a pro bike rider who is itching to ride and "pop a wheelie" on his way to school.
Way to Go Benji We are so proud of you!!! You have amazing Determination to teach yourself how to ride your bike and so quickly!

My 3 Boys!

He was also not impressed with his first shoe fitting ;)

I know its a lot of pics but my boys are so stinking cute! Here is the Unrestrained love and adoration of a MOTHER in LOVE With Her Boys!

Dan and Benji Just came home from Church and couldn't wait to snuggle and cuddle Baby James who stayed home with me...(And, Yes We use both names intermittently) So I grabbed the camera to capture their loves.

Nelly Is such a good natured friendly doggy. If Cal cries from his nap in the bedroom, She runs to the door and sits looking at me with concern in her eyes just to make sure I am going to come get him.

LOVE THESE BOYS!!!

Muddy Mud Pit & Mr Crabby Patty

Last October....The family went for a nice walk...When the boys left the trail and wondered down to the receding river, mom was not in exploring shoes so I left the boys to trail blaze on their own. This is what I welcomed back home...They were covered head to toe in mucky river mud and Benji discovered a new friend. Mr. Crabby Patty the Crawdad he just had to bring home!
(Note Yes I know Benjis pants are down, the mud was cold and he was anxious to get in the bath.)

After the big clean up (hosing out all the clothes before they hit the washing machine) and a complete scientific examination of the crawdad (yes Benji is a science enthusiast & we learned more then we needed to know about crayfish) we all got in the car and drove back to the river to send Mr. Crabby Patty home and set him FREE...

Happy Birthday To Us!

Dans hot dancing moves!

I found cousin Ryelle a giant Winni the Pooh Bear..She is a huge fan and was instantly taken with him.

Having the Same Birthday in a marriage proposes interesting situations.

Who's Day is it really...
Who does the dishes?
Who cleans the house?
Who chooses what we do to celebrate?

Who arranges the celebrations?

Who make the cake?

My favorite advantage is there is only one cake and one set of candles so I am only as old as Dan.
As to the answer I will let you decide. I can tell you this year a good friend Karen brought us the giant cupcake for our birthday. Because last year she caught me making a double layer homemade German Chocolate cake on my birthday... And she said that should not happen again! Thanks Karen!
