The Family Exploring Bridal Veil Falls

July 12 2010 we took Michele and Mikes family to hike, really walk the bridal Veil
Falls path. It was a really hot day and the water at the falls was refreshingly cold.

We had so much fun with Michele and Mike and family thanks for making the long trip from Oregon to Utah!

Cercet Lake Alta Utah Hike-more summer memories

Aunt Michele, Hannah, and Ryelle give Baby James a bath before another day of hiking...

After all the preparations we packed up the 3 cars and headed out to Alta. Along the way...
Some one got lost, 40 mins south of where we were heading, and someone got a flat tire, and someone found a long lost love “rascal D” only to lose him again within 3 minutes along side the free way…. There were some short tempered, hungry, & hot people…Can you believe it after all that and a tow truck we still had a GREAT TIME in BEAUTIFUL ALTA!

I think the Snow ball fight was a great release! Especially the cousins from Oregon coast have not seen snow in so long they were so excited.

WAHOO!!!

Yeah they have finished construction on our new home and we moved in the end of July. WAHOO

We are getting settled and have been enjoying breaks in the community pool and using the walking trail along the river. Come join us!!!

The first few days in our new house we happily had visiters. Rob, Mal, Casey, Will Nicole and Baby Ryan all came for the brothers trip to Darby Canyon. After the big cave adventure we all got to visit the montians. We rode the ski lift up the mountain, played Frisbee golf, played in the stream and hiked down the mountain. Benji is an amazing hiker he never complained once!

Benji got to help his uncles Casey & Will put up our new mail box.. He loves any excuse to get out in the dirt and dig. Putting the sprinklers in with Dad has also given him plenty opportunity to get dirty.

We had a great time with all Dans Brothers and Sis. we miss you and cant wait for the next get together!!!

We went hiking up a canyon Tuesday morning with some friends if you can call it hiking when you are with 4 kids, 4 & under and 2 dogs. It was nice to get away from the packing and moving clutter of our home. Benji kept declaring he had discovered dinosaur fossils in the rocks. He is stoked for his Dino themed birthday party.
