WAHOO!!!

Yeah they have finished construction on our new home and we moved in the end of July. WAHOO

We are getting settled and have been enjoying breaks in the community pool and using the walking trail along the river. Come join us!!!

The first few days in our new house we happily had visiters. Rob, Mal, Casey, Will Nicole and Baby Ryan all came for the brothers trip to Darby Canyon. After the big cave adventure we all got to visit the montians. We rode the ski lift up the mountain, played Frisbee golf, played in the stream and hiked down the mountain. Benji is an amazing hiker he never complained once!

Benji got to help his uncles Casey & Will put up our new mail box.. He loves any excuse to get out in the dirt and dig. Putting the sprinklers in with Dad has also given him plenty opportunity to get dirty.

We had a great time with all Dans Brothers and Sis. we miss you and cant wait for the next get together!!!

Progression of building June 2 - July 2

The choice of rock we made and the master bathroom jetted tub are my two favorite things. Benji is positive the jetted tub will be his bathtub.

Dans favorite is the rock on the fireplace going completely up to the ceiling-which is not completed yet. And his plans for the entertainment room downstairs-to be completed in the future finished basement. Come winter the fireplace will be all our favorite thing, hard to think now with this hot weather.

New home on its way

We have been with out internet again for a while...Having just got it back 2 days ago I thought I would throw a few pics up of the house before we went on the 4th Vacation. Dan and Benji did a little bit of electrical work on the house on May 26.

Update

May 8 Thursday on our way to meet the family we are renting from for dinner, we stopped at the house again. Man they move fast on this part of the building phase. Its fun to see the progress, latter on Im sure we will get frustrated with the lack of speed when they are working on the inside and everything seems slow, but for now its so surprising to see the changes!

Here is Benj enjoying the slide that is at the clubhouse in our Community. As you can see he gives his approval.

hiking

This pic was taken April 26th is already outdated, now they have started framing the house!

We went hiking up a canyon Tuesday morning with some friends if you can call it hiking when you are with 4 kids, 4 & under and 2 dogs. It was nice to get away from the packing and moving clutter of our home. Benji kept declaring he had discovered dinosaur fossils in the rocks. He is stoked for his Dino themed birthday party.

It has begun April 6th- 16th

It has begun
The digging started Friday last week, ( the funny thing is I took Benji to watch the digging in action but when we got there as in the picture the workers spent the whole time trying to fix something that went wrong with the digger, so we didn’t get to see any digging action).

April 11th- The completion date for our Lehi home is still up in the air, for end of July or begging of August, our bet and hope is for the 3rd week of July.

So that meant Dan started finishing the projects in our home that was started the month we moved in! Remember Will you came and helped Dan put in a new front door, & Jeff you helped put in the new side door to the spare room when you came. Dan is now putting the finishing touches on these projects yeah. Dan I am so glad that we can enjoy our finished, painted doors for the 4 weeks before we move out. JK Dan. He is really great, he just needs a dead line to finish the job and when he does he does it awesome. Our current plans are to finish all these unfinished projects, de-junk, pack up the house with items for storage and items to take with us to the rental, our temporary move to a fully furnished home in Sandy Utah!
Benjamin graduated to a BIG BOY BED. We bought a bunk bed we got for a great deal on KSL.com its like a craigs list for Utah. He also has begun to work on big boy puzzles, something that amazed me . My baby is growing up.
