Once there was a Snow Man...In April!!!

Once there was a Snow Man, a snow man, a snow man....Tall Tall Tall!!!

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul, With a corncob pipe and a button nose And two eyes made out of coal....
Can you believe we had a beautiful snow man the first Saturday in April?
Well, WELCOME SPRING!!! Well even though I want to be out planting my pansies with Benji like we usually have by now, I was pleasantly surprised to find fine "snowman snow" (the pack-able kind) falling outside our windows early this morning! We have missed our snowman chances all winter. Benji and I were very bugged. Weather it was that dry powder snow or we were on the go the few times we had the nice "snowman snow" we had missed our chances this winter. Benji was so excited to see so much snow and ecstatic when I told him we had "snowman snow". Dad was a little less enthusiastic at first as it meant Benji was bouncing all over him while Dad was trying to get his "Saturday sleep in time". Well we made it out to construct the most beautiful snowman on the block just in the nick of time because only 2 hours had past after our snowman's birthday when there was no more snow on the block at all (except for our Frosty himself) and his head fell off...
Well in conmemoration of our Frosty (yes we were all singin that song all day) we had hot coco and cinaman rolls and a fire going as we watched General Confrence Saturday Session...
Sweet family memories!
Watch for our March Madness More posts to come!

What a BEAUTIFUL snowman. He really looks great. We woke up with some snow thismorning, but not enough for a snowman. Oh and thank you so much for sending fuzzy wuzzy. The kids are so happy to have him back. They also loved the candy and other treats!

I love your pictures. What a cute snowman! I appreciate Dan's frustration about losing his Saturday sleep-in. It is one of Sean's most closely guarded times. :)
